Getting Started in Second Life
To experience Second Life, you must first install the Second Life viewer Application.Downloads are available for: Windows, Linux, and Mac
MoonWorld uses special themes to simulate the lunar environment. The themes create a black sky with stars, sun, earth, and other celestial bodies, as well as, removing the waves that lap around our island.

32 bit Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 Users
Manual Install:
(Verify that second life is NOT running)
Download the two theme files (Save them to your desktop):
LunarMorning7.xmlBlackwater.xmlNavigate to your Second Life install directory
C:\Program Files\SecondLifeViewer\
Within that folder you will see another folder called "app_settings". Open it, then find the "windlight" folder and open it. Then drag or copy the "LunarMorning7.xml" file into the "skys" folder, and "Blackwater.xml" into the "water" folder.
Run Second Life, and log in.
From the SL top menu, select: "World >> Environment Editor >> Environment Settings"
Then click "Customize my environment"
To the left of the "Water Setting" prompt, select "Blackwater" from the dropdown menu. Underneath the Sky/Day Cycle prompt select "Fixed Sky"
Then select "LunarMorning7" from the dropdown menu. MoonWorld is now transformed into a more dramatic environment!
64 bit Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 Users

Double click your hard drive icon
Select "Users"
Select your username (Usually your log in name)
Select "Library"
Select "Application Support"
Select "Second Life"
Select "User Settings"
Select "Windlight"
Drag the "LunarMorning7.xml" file into the "skys" directory
Drag the "Blackwater.xml" file into the "water" directory
Run Second Life, and log in.
